Bread of Life (Saturday)
An evangelistic outreach where spiritual as well as physical food is served. Teams rotate every other month on their same scheduled Saturdays to cook food that is served to up to 200 people at Moore Square (Downtown Raleigh). The gospel is preached with an invitation for salvation along with times of fellowship and prayer.
Downtown Friends (Sunday)
A time of discipleship and fellowship. The church bus picks up men and women from the South Wilmington Street Center, Moore Square, and Hillsborough Street areas every Sunday and brings them to Cary Church of God. After Sunday school lessons are taught, meals are served. The Downtown Friends then join the rest of the congregation for service. Teachers, bus drivers, and those preparing and serving the meals rotate on a regular basis to volunteer their time, talents, and treasures.
