*The Intercessors

Who: People committed to prayer at Cary COG.
What: They are registered in at least one prayer ministry, praying for God’s Presence, Power, and Purposes to flow through Cary COG.
Goal: To have every member and active attender registered as a Intercessor at CCOG!
Why: They desire to see God’s glory manifested and lost souls saved
How: Send an email to the contact person below.
Where: They pray at home, at the church, at work, and in their vehicles.
When: Most register for a 30-minute time slot of prayer on a specific day. Others simply register the day they will be praying for a specific ministry, or a Pastor/Staff member.
*All are encouraged to gather on Wednesday nights for corporate prayer.
*
There is a monthly
“AWE”-Awake and Engaged Prayer Meeting on the 2nd Thursday at 7:00 PM. This is the time the Lord is calling us to be wide-eyed awake to pray and then to be engaged with what is upon His heart for prayer. If you are an intercessor—one who loves to pray or maybe someone who wants to learn how to pray, you are invited to our monthly meeting-- it is open to all. In addition to prayer, there is also a Bible study. The current focus is the importance of having the written word of God in us in order to ignite prayers of “mountain moving faith”.

**The WatchMen on the Wall…

Each week one of our male Intercessors steps up to be the weekly WatchMan on the Wall for the families of this body. They come to the church to pray as much as possible on their assigned week, and they bring their family at least once to pray together in the Prayer Room and take communion as a family.

Coordinator for WatchMen on the Wall is Jeff Barton, jerzee@unity.ncsu.edu

To participate in any of these prayer ministries, please contact the Janet Baggett at jbaggett@carycog.com
