Simon is married to Sophy and they have 2 daughters Covenant and Beracah, and a son Promise. He is one of the founding pastors of Mavuno Church; currently with a congregation of 3000 at the main campus.

In addition to being a teaching pastor, he currently leads Transform Kenya initiative that is working on 3 areas:
•    Leadership Development - preparing servant leaders for a new Kenya
•    Family - focusing on men and mentoring the young men
•    Prayer - mobilizing the church to pray and be involved in social transformation

He has widely traveled in prayer initiatives, specifically in troubled nations.
