Single mom? Feel a bit disconnected? Not sure where to fit in or where to turn? This is the place to connect with other ladies just like you and me. Oasis: A ministry for single moms. Simply said we're just real with the God we serve and the kids we have been divinely chosen to raise. We meet on Wednesday nights in the hospitality room (which means we get to have coffee and refreshments) :) at 7pm. Once a month we get together where our only agenda is making friends and having fun. We have begun to realize how God is greater than any challenge single motherhood can set before us. He as our Sovereign God has the faith in us that with Him on our side we can and will raise amazing kids.
 
In Exodus 15:22-27, we read where the Israelites had been traveling in the wilderness for 3 days finding no water. When they finally do find water it's bitter, not drinkable. Of course, they are angry and complain asking Moses, "What shall we drink?". Moses, the smart man that he is, knows the only answer is to go to God with the same question. God answers in His faithfulness and shows Moses the answer. Upon the obedience of Moses the waters become sweet. It was there that God revealed Himself as Jehovah-Rapha, "The Lord that healeth thee". Next we read where they arrive at Elim, an oasis of 12 springs and 70 palm trees. They pitched their tents and camped there by the waters. I love that story!! Whether you're in that wilderness looking for water or have arrived at the bitter water waiting for God to intervene and make it sweet, God has an Oasis ahead where He will heal, give rest and strength like only He can give. I pray you will press on to His water, not just a sip, an Oasis!
