Your hometown: I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. 

How you met Jesus: I became a follower of Jesus when I was sixteen years old.  I was not raised in a Christian home but came to Christ through a ministry of a local church that reached out to neighborhood youth.

Favorite restaurant: Danny’s Barbecue

Favorite verse: Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Hobbies: Sports and reading

Your family: I am married to the most wonderful woman in all the world.  We have three grown children, two boys and a girl, who are all married.  Marilyn and I have five beautiful granddaughters and one handsome grandson.

Random fact or something interesting about you: We have traveled and lived all over the United States.  During our married life, my wife and I have lived in Tennessee, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Oregon, Maryland, Oklahoma and here in North Carolina.  I have been the pastor of the Cary Church of God for the last 21 years.
