This is the 4th year that we have had a corporate time of prayer and fasting.  The established time is twenty-one days beginning January 9 and continuing through January 29th.

As we have done for the last few years, we are going to join with individual believers and churches from across America in beginning the new-year with a corporate time of fasting and prayer.  We have designated January 9 through January 29 as our season of fasting.  Between now and January 8, please inquire of the Lord if you are going to participate in this time of prayer and fasting. 

It is between you and the Lord concerning the particulars of your fast.  You may participate with a Daniel style fast, a liquid only fast, a full fast, a media fast or some other form, but be sure to saturate your time with much prayer.  Another important question you need to ask yourself is, “What am I going to be fasting for?”  Is there something in your life that you deeply want to see come to pass?  It might be a loved one you want to come to the Lord, a healing, deliverance from an addiction, financial miracle, anointing on your ministry or an emotional breakthrough.  Also be open to how the Lord may want you to fast and pray for the Body of Christ local, national, or around the world.  Be specific in your fast.

We will be passing out commitment cards for you to complete and take home with you during the first part of January.  You will use the cards to remind yourself of what you will be praying for and how you will be fasting.  This will be between you and the Father.
